Mau Ivy: tall resting space, with a narrower weight limit
A high-ticket, four-basket tree for cats within the maker’s 18 lb limit. It needs more room than its base measurement suggests.
What makes it a different purchase?
Ivy provides four raised baskets along a tall structure. It is an option to investigate when several resting positions and a furniture-like appearance are priorities. It is not a compact substitute for a single scratcher, and it should not be the only resting resource in a multi-cat home.

The dimensions and weight boundary
Mau states 73-inch height, a 23-inch base and up to 18 lb per cat. It describes four woven baskets, removable cushions, natural branch structure and wrapped scratching surfaces. [21]
The white Amazon listing identifies ANI-127-WHT and gives 37 × 23 × 73 inches overall. Plan around the larger overall dimension, not only the 23-inch base. Basket interior size and the approach between levels still need a fit check for your cat. [22]
Installation is part of the decision
Use Mau’s current securing guide and the model instructions. Inspect the intended wall type and placement before purchase; anti-tip hardware and a stable level floor matter, particularly with active pets or children. A taller product is not inherently more stable. [5]
Do not allow human climbing or sitting. Monitor woven edges, cushions, fasteners and hanging components for wear. Stop use when damage or instability appears. Replacement parts do not remove the need for those checks.
Care and value
Mau lists replacement wear parts and specific cushion-washing directions. Four baskets also mean more surfaces to inspect and clean. Follow the current care instructions rather than treating every textile as washable in the same way. [21]
Our reason to consider Ivy is the combination of several resting positions and a high-ticket design option. The reason to reject it is equally concrete: a cat over 18 lb, insufficient total clearance, unsuitable access or an installation the household cannot maintain. Popularity cannot override those exclusions.
